The villas are from 60 - 100 square meters in size including the bedroom and terrace areas. The new cottages and villas have thatched roofs and give the resort a truly tropical feel. The Sri Thanu area is a volcanic peninsula that juts out into the coral reef allowing guests fantastic swimming and superb views over the bay. The Loyfa Natural Resort swimming pool offers a panoramic view of the bay with the restaurant & bar set just behind. The sunsets at night are a spectacle and many guests gather at this time to watch and enjoy a few drinks in this relaxing haven.

Loyfa Natural Resort is a haven for birds which can be observed by the side of the restaurant throughout the day and particularly at low tide when their fishing trips begin. Minor birds nest in the thatched roofs and smaller members of the humming bird family hover to drink the nectar of the flowers in the trees. Schools of fish seek food in the shallows allowing guests to observe the marine life without even having to enter the welcoming waters.

Loyfa is found within a few minutes walk of of Sri Thanu village which has shops, cash points and restaurants to visit. The main capital of the Island is ten minutes by taxi and other beaches such as Haad Yao and Haad Chao Phao are ten minutes in the opposite direction. Sri Thanu is a very good central location on the western coast.

Wireless Internet is available throughout the resort for guests to enjoy. There is also internet access available at reception for customers to use – there are computers available for guests.
