Haad Yao (Long Beach) runs for over 1km and our resort covers the whole of the southern end of the beach.

We are a family run place, open since 1985 and have established ourselves as one of the best known resorts on the island.

All of Sandy Bay's bungalows are comfortable, clean and serviced every day. We have a full range of options to suit all budgets. The majority of our bungalows are directly on the beach, all have en-suite fascilities and a choice of powerful fan or air-conditioning.

Throughout the resort our facilities are there to help make your time spent with us simple and easy. We have our own internet shop, travel agent, motorbike rental service, laundry and safety deposit boxes where you can keep your items.

 Activities on offer include scuba diving, fishing, snorkelling, kayaking, jungle trekking and island boat trips.

The centrepiece of the resort is our newly built swimming pool which directly overlooks the beach.

Lounge around, have a cold drink by the poolside and then take a dip in the sea just a few metres away. Perfect!

We also have wireless internet access so you can check your emails at anytime.

The Sandy Bay Restaurant is one of the island's favourite eating places. Our beachfront location gives a superb view over Haad Yao Beach. As a family run business we have a unique and friendly atmosphere and we can preapare your food any way you wish.
