Sunrise Resort is situated on Haad Rin Nok Beach, the beach of the most vibrant part of Koh Phangan, the centre of Haad Rin town. Sunrise beach is a beautiful beach with a long strip of white sand lined with coconut palms and is well known for the monthly Full Moon Party. However, if the sight of thousands of bottles and other trash repulses you, make sure you leave the beach area before the sun comes up, or grab a garbage bag and help tidy up a little. If you're not on Ko Pha Ngan during the full moon, don't worry: there are other parties to be had, including Half Moon (2 times a month), Black Moon, Jungle Parties, as well as the Shiva Moon party. There is always something to do in Ko Pha Ngan.

There are about 10,000-20,000 people every month at this Koh Phangan beach party. It is of course known as the Full Moon Party. International and Thai DJ’s are making the crowd go wild. Paint yourself in UV colors and let your body lose control. The DJ’s play all kinds of music; techno, trance, goa, drum n’ bass, dub, reggae, commercial hits, house etc on about 15 soundsystems along Haad Rin beach. There are also many small tables on the beach where you can sit down with your friends or meet new ones from all parts of the globe. Don’t waste your time on the Fullmoon party if you don’t like to meet people from all over the world. There are thousands of them. Dance to pumping beats on a "paradise" beach in the moonlight.
